About us

Red Oak Capital Holdings is a rapidly growing, vertically integrated, national private debt provider and asset management firm working exclusively in the commercial real estate market.

Our organization is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Analyst to join our team. The Commercial Real Estate Analyst will be responsible for review and analysis of commercial real estate in the context of lending operations. The position will support loan originators and underwriters, as well as other company asset management activities. Primary duties include reviewing loan submissions for the purpose analyzing the strength of the commercial real estate, borrowers and their business plans. Other aspects include assisting CRE underwriters in making lending decisions and preparing credit presentation documents.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist loan originators in running up-front loan structuring and risk/return pricing of loan scenarios.
  • Review documentation for completeness/accuracy and provide due-diligence analysis on preliminary loan submissions for initial credit review.
  • Review borrower financial statements and perform cash flow and reserve analysis.
  • Review guarantor financial statements and real estate related backgrounds/experience.
  • Review borrower organizational documents.
  • Analyze leases, rent rolls and operating statements for multifamily and commercial properties; compare property occupancy and net operating income to comparable properties in the marketplace to develop pro forma property cash flow statements.
  • Review title reports, appraisals, environmental site assessments, physical condition reports and other third-party reports related to commercial properties offered as collateral in connection with loan requests.
  • Independently analyze initial loan submissions and determine whether the loan submission meets the conditions for issuing a Letter of Intent.
  • Proactively and effectively manage and complete assignments in high production environment so that service levels and turn times are achieved on a consistent basis without sacrificing quality.

Other Responsibilities may include:

  • Work on special projects as assigned
  • Assist originators as needed
  • Assist asset managers on working out relationships as needed
  • Interact with Capital Markets on an as needed basis to support pricing models
  • Participate in periodic meetings with Credit Committee and Senior Management to monitor portfolio trends and specific asset performance
  • Work with IT and Application Development on building and supporting underwriting models
  • Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization’s desired culture and values

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
