We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Commercial Real Estate Legal Admin.
This is a unique opportunity to work side-by-side with our in-house legal counsel and executives. You’ll play a key role across lease and contract administration, due diligence, corporate governance, litigation support, and regulatory compliance.
Full-Time | In-House, Monday to Friday, 100% in person | New York, NY (Corporate Office)
Key responsibilities:
- Drafting, reviewing, and managing leases, amendments, and related legal documents;
- Abstracting and analyzing key lease terms, including rent structures, co-tenancy provisions, and exclusive use clauses;
- Maintaining legal and lease tracking systems and monitoring critical dates and deadlines;
- Verifying and tracking rent escalations, CAM charges, tax obligations, and other lease-related expenses;
- Managing tenant default notices and supporting lease enforcement actions;
- Assisting with corporate legal functions such as entity formation, annual filings, and governance documentation;
- Coordinating with outside counsel on ongoing litigation matters;
- Providing legal support to internal teams regarding lease terms, compliance, and other legal matters.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; Paralegal Certificate preferred.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a commercial real estate legal admin with a focus on real estate transactions, leasing, and lease administrations.
- Must have strong knowledge of real estate law, title and survey review, and closing procedures, and ability to abstract lease agreements.
- Property Management software experience required (ex: Yardi or relevant software).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- High level of attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
