Position Overview

We are seeking an exceptional real estate litigation associate to join our team. The ideal candidate is a proactive, strategic litigation associate with strong credentials and experience in all aspects of litigation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle all aspects of litigation, including:

ž Drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery

ž Taking and defending depositions

ž Preparing and arguing motions in court (state and federal, as applicable)

ž Managing written and electronic discovery

ž Participating in mediations, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation

  • Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and the courts
  • Develop litigation strategies and provide insightful risk assessments and recommendations

Qualifications

Education: J.D. from a top-tier law school with excellent academic credentials.

Experience: At least 3-7 years of general civil litigation experience (exposure to commercial real estate matters is a plus) at a large or reputable law firm.

Demonstrated experience taking and defending depositions, drafting dispositive motions, and appearing in court

  • Exceptional legal writing, research, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a client-service mindset

What We Offer

  • Competitive compensation and benefits package. Compensation will be commensurate with the market for boutique real estate firms, reflecting the candidate's experience, expertise, and the value they bring to the firm.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $200,000.00 - $300,000.00 per year

Work Location: Hybrid remote in San Diego, CA 92130
