Commercial Real Estate Paralegal

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. In this role, you will provide essential support in managing complex real estate transactions, drafting and reviewing legal documents, and conducting thorough legal research. Your expertise will help facilitate smooth property acquisitions, dispositions, leasing agreements, and financing arrangements. The ideal candidate is proactive, possesses excellent communication skills, and has a strong background in commercial real estate law along with a broad understanding of related legal areas. Responsibilities

  • Assist attorneys with drafting, reviewing, and organizing legal documents related to commercial real estate transactions such as purchase agreements, leases, and title documents
  • coordinate closings, including preparation of checklist and closing documents and coordinate post closing matters including preparation of Closing binders
  • Manage document review processes utilizing document management systems like iManage and PCLaw for accurate record keeping and case tracking
  • Coordinate project timelines and facilitate communication among stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met efficiently
  • Perform due diligence by researching property titles, zoning regulations, environmental compliance issues, and other relevant legal considerations
  • Prepare summaries of legal findings and assist in drafting correspondence, contracts, and other legal documentation
  • Maintain organized files through meticulous filing practices and data entry within legal case management platforms

Skills

  • Proven experience as a paralegal within a law office specializing in commercial real estate or related fields
  • Strong knowledge of estate planning, environmental law, UCC law, landlord-tenant law, securities law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, family law, immigration law or litigation is a plus
  • Proficiency with legal research tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw for case law and statutory research
  • Familiarity with legal administrative software including iManage, Westlaw, PCLaw, and document management systems
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
  • Exceptional writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective proofreading and transcription abilities to ensure error-free documentation
  • Strong phone etiquette combined with professional communication skills for interacting with clients, vendors, and internal teams
  • Experience in conducting interviews or client intake procedures is advantageous
  • Demonstrated ability to perform thorough research and legal case management while maintaining confidentiality

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $54,206.98 - $80,000.00 per year
