Commercial Real Estate Rotational Intern

Saglo Companies’ Summer Internship Program is a highly selective, hands on rotational experience designed for individuals pursuing a career in commercial real estate. Over the course of eight weeks, interns gain direct exposure to key areas of the business, including Leasing, Operations, Property Management, and Acquisitions. Participants will work alongside experienced professionals, contribute to real projects, and develop foundational skills in market analysis, financial modeling, and investment evaluation. This program is structured to provide a comprehensive understanding of how a vertically integrated real estate firm sources, evaluates, and operates retail shopping centers.

Commercial Real Estate Rotational Intern

Location: Miami, FL

Program Dates: June 3 – July 31, 2026

Reports To: Head of People + Department Leaders


About the Program

Saglo Companies’ Summer Internship Program is a highly selective, hands on rotational experience designed for individuals seriously considering a career in commercial real estate.


This is not a passive internship. You will be expected to think critically, contribute meaningfully, and operate with the urgency and professionalism of a full time team member.


Over the course of the program, you will gain direct exposure to how a vertically integrated real estate investment firm sources, evaluates, acquires, and operates retail shopping centers.


What You Will Do

  • Participate in a structured rotational program across Leasing, Operations, Property Management, and Acquisitions
  • Build real financial models and support underwriting of live acquisition opportunities
  • Conduct market and trade area analysis using tools such as Placer.ai and CoStar
  • Assist in sourcing deals, researching tenants, and evaluating investment opportunities
  • Shadow property managers, leasing professionals, and acquisitions leaders in real time
  • Participate in site visits, tenant meetings, and internal strategy discussions
  • Contribute to real projects that impact company operations and decision making
  • Present insights, findings, and recommendations to team members


Program Structure

  • June 3 – 5: Onboarding, training, and company immersion
  • June 8 – August 1: Department rotations (2 weeks each):
  • Leasing
  • Operations
  • Property Management
  • Acquisitions


Who You Are

We are looking for individuals who are not just exploring real estate, but are serious about building a career in it.


  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field
  • Strong analytical ability and comfort working with data
  • High level of curiosity and willingness to ask questions
  • Strong communication skills and professional presence
  • Self starter who takes ownership and follows through
  • Interest in investments, markets, and how deals get done
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint required

  • Prior internship or experience in real estate, finance, or investments
  • Exposure to financial modeling or valuation concepts
  • Demonstrated interest in real estate (courses, projects, reading, networking, etc.)
