Commercial Refrigeration Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician & Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in refrigeration, HVAC, and mechanical knowledge. This role involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of refrigeration systems and related equipment. The technician will work closely with clients to ensure optimal performance and efficiency of their systems.

Duties

• Install, maintain, and repair refrigeration systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues using schematics and technical manuals.
• Utilize tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and diagnostics.
• Collaborate with other service technicians to complete complex projects.
• Conduct field service visits to client locations for repairs and installations.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Maintain accurate records of service performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their needs.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Refrigeration Technician or similar role in HVAC/R.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair and maintenance.
• Experience in construction or property maintenance is advantageous.
• Proficiency in plumbing, air conditioning systems, boiler operation, and welding techniques preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as schematics and manuals.
• Valid driver's license required for travel to job sites.
