Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of commercial roofing systems to identify damage, leaks, or deterioration.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on various roofing materials using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute repair plans.
• Utilize construction estimating skills to assess project scope and materials needed for repairs or replacements.
• Operate heavy machinery and perform heavy lifting safely to transport materials and equipment on-site.
• Apply caulking, trim carpentry, stucco, masonry, welding, tile laying, and other related trades to complete comprehensive roofing solutions.
• Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including service reports and repair logs to ensure quality control and accountability.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of roofing systems, construction estimating, blueprint reading, and schematics.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, metal stud framing, framing carpentry, and fabrication techniques.
• Experience with construction site safety protocols and ability to work at heights comfortably.
• Familiarity with restoration techniques, remodeling processes, plumbing basics, masonry work, welding, and tile installation.
• Ability to lift heavy materials safely and perform physically demanding tasks consistently.
• Prior handyman experience or construction site experience is highly valued for this role.

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
