Melton Industries is a family-owned company that has specialized in low-slope commercial roofing throughout Kansas for more than 25 years. We service modified bitumen, EPDM, TPO, metal, rolled, BUR, and PVC roofing systems.

We are currently hiring multiple full-time employees to join our commercial roofing team.

No roofing experience is required. We are looking for dependable individuals with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn from experienced roofing professionals. Applicants with roofing or construction experience are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform commercial roof repairs
• Surface preparation and power washing
• Apply roof coatings and related materials
• Job site cleanup and organization
• Assist with general roofing tasks as assigned
• Help maintain company shops, equipment, and facilities when not working on roofing projects

Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation to the company shop each day
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Ability to safely bend, lift, and carry heavy materials
• Comfortable working at heights of 10 feet or more
• Ability to carry, extend, and secure ladders
• Follow proper ladder safety procedures and maintain three points of contact while climbing
• Adhere to all company safety standards and job-site safety requirements
• Ability to work varying hours based on project demands
• Willingness to travel for occasional out-of-town projects (extended stays are uncommon)

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
