Position Overview:

Top Choice Plumbing, a leading commercial plumbing service company proudly serving the state of South Carolina, is seeking an experienced Service Plumber who operates from home and is dispatched directly to residential and commercial job sites. This role is ideal for a motivated self-starter who enjoys working independently, managing their schedule, and providing top-quality plumbing service without the need to report daily to a central office. to oversee daily operations and join the company's expansion efforts. As we expand across the southeast, we need a dynamic, strategic, and experienced leader to ensure operational excellence, drive growth, and maintain our high standards of customer satisfaction. The Service Plumber will play a key role in servicing the Nashville location, optimizing efficiency, best customer service practice, and use of technical plumbing knowledge.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receive and respond to service calls dispatched remotely via mobile app or dispatch software.
• Communicate directly with dispatchers about work orders (ex. late, arrival time, any complex issues, etc.)
• Travel directly from home to customer locations to perform plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, fixture replacements, and water heater repairs.
• Maintain communication with the dispatch team regarding job status, parts needed, and time estimates.
• Complete digital work orders, collect payments, and document all services performed.
• Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes and safety regulations.
• Manage inventory and tools stored in a company-provided vehicle.
• Provide professional, courteous service and uphold the company’s reputation for quality workmanship.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3–5 years of plumbing experience (service and repair preferred).
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Proficiency with mobile devices and dispatch software (ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, etc.).
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Work Environment:

• Home-based dispatch model — no daily reporting to an office.
• Company-provided service vehicle, tools, and technology.
• Travel required within designated service area.
• Occasional on-call or weekend rotations as assigned.
