Commercial Service/Maintenance Technician – Are you an experienced Service/Maintenance Technician with significant commercial experience or apartment experience? Are you looking for a stable, reputable company with supportive management who value what you bring to the family? We are looking for a Tier 3 Technician at this time.
A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A COMMERCIAL SERVICE TECHNICIAN
As a Commercial Service Technician, our expectations are that you arrive at our clients' businesses on time, within our company provided vehicle and appropriately represent us as you perform the contracted services. You assess and diagnose plumbing, and service-related problems, take the preventative measures needed for the systems that we service. You will document and communicate problems and solutions in such a way that is clear and satisfactory to each client, verbally and in written report form. You will take before and after pictures to document the job along the way, on a company provided cell phone. You play an integral part in maintaining recurring business. You work well with clients, installers, dispatchers, and managers as needed. You have exposure to basic building repair, minor carpentry, wall repair, drywall, electrical, painting and floor repair. Performs other duties as required.
Pay: $25–$29/hr DOE
Tier 1 Technicians handle essential plumbing, electrical, and light construction tasks. Advancement opportunities available.
Responsibilities:
· Replace faucets, toilets, Instahots
· Install solar lights, door hardware, ceiling tiles
· Perform minor electrical repairs (switches, plugs, ballasts)
· Patch drywall, paint, prep surfaces
· Mix/pour concrete, install carpet squares

Septon Service Maintenance Technician – Tier 2
As a Tier 2 Technician, you’ll take on intermediate-level service tasks that require technical skill and problem-solving ability. You’ll handle plumbing and electrical installations beyond basic repairs, perform structural work, and respond to service calls under limited supervision. This role is ideal for technicians ready to move beyond entry-level work and demonstrate independence in more complex projects.
Expanded Responsibilities:
· Remove and replace water heaters, ensuring proper venting and leak-free installation.
· Run new waterlines off existing lines with correct slope and secure connections.
· Replace damaged closet flanges for toilets.
· Identify wire sizes and match them to compatible breaker sizes for safe electrical work.
· Run wire from existing junction boxes to install new outlets.
· Remove and install new light fixtures, ensuring proper mounting and wiring.
· Diagnose electrical issues and troubleshoot faults safely.
· Install power poles and run new conduit for electrical systems.
· Hang drywall sheets and apply texture to match existing surfaces.
· Install floor tile with clean grout lines and even spacing.
· Perform concrete finishing, block installation, and staining for structural integrity and aesthetics.
· Respond to on-call service requests under supervision, demonstrating clear communication and timely resolution.
Requirements:
· Demonstrated proficiency in all Tier 1 tasks (plumbing, electrical, light construction).
· Ability to independently perform intermediate plumbing tasks such as water heater replacement and running new waterlines.
· Electrical competency: wire sizing, breaker compatibility, running wire from J-box, installing light fixtures, and diagnosing issues safely.
· Construction skills: drywall hanging and texturing, tile installation, concrete finishing, block installation, and staining.
· Problem-solving ability for troubleshooting plumbing and electrical issues.
· Physical capability to handle heavier installations and structural work.
· Strong communication skills for supervised on-call dispatching.
· Commitment to safety compliance and code adherence.

Tier 3 Technicians are advanced professionals capable of executing complex installations and repairs with minimal supervision. You’ll lead specialized projects, perform high-skill tasks such as welding and framing, and mentor junior technicians.
