Commercial/Civil Litigation Partner - Dubai

Our client is a mid sized international law firm with a well established and growing Dubai office. The UAE practice advises clients across a broad range of sectors including energy and construction, corporate, real estate, and private clients.

The Dubai office has expanded significantly in recent years and is now one of the firm's fastest growing international locations, offering a full suite of services to clients across the Gulf and wider region.

Current market conditions have driven a marked increase in demand for their litigation and dispute resolution capabilities. Instructions span the full spectrum of contentious work, with particular emphasis on construction, civil and commercial disputes, real estate, insurance, and criminal matters.

As part of this growth, the firm seeks a high calibre Counsel or Partner who is a bi lingual Arabic speaker with broad civil and commercial litigation expertise. This includes experience in:

• UAE civil law and local court litigation
• Cross border disputes and enforcement of foreign and regional judgments and awards
• Extradition matters, white collar crime, fraud, and debt recovery
• Domestic Arabic arbitrations and international arbitrations under LCIA, ICC, QICCA, ADCCAC, DIAC and KSA based rules

Candidates should also have experience in arbitration and the enforcement of arbitral awards across the GCC and internationally.

Suitable applicants are likely to be existing partners or senior counsel within leading regional or international firms offering local civil law capability.
