Commercial/Residential Electrician

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Commercial/Residential Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across both commercial and residential properties. Your expertise will ensure safe, efficient, and code-compliant electrical solutions that meet client needs and project specifications. Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, and panels in commercial and residential settings
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical schematics to accurately execute projects
• Use hand tools, power tools, multimeters (including ohmmeters), and low voltage testing equipment to perform precise electrical work
• Follow NEC (National Electrical Code) standards and safety protocols to ensure compliance on all projects
• Work on construction sites performing framing carpentry, renovation tasks, and general handyman duties as needed
• Read schematics and technical diagrams to install programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and industrial electrical systems
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to deliver projects on time and within scope

Skills

• Proven experience as a commercial electrician with a solid understanding of industrial electrician practices
• Strong knowledge of low voltage systems, high voltage wiring, and NEC regulations
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing devices
• Experience working on construction sites with a focus on renovation projects
• Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and industrial electrical systems is highly desirable
• Capable of performing frame carpentry tasks or handyman work as part of project support
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in complex electrical installations
• Valid electrical license or certification as required by local regulations; additional certifications in high voltage or low voltage systems are a plus

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
