- Check the shelf life of products, tag the production/expiry date on each product and communicate the wasted product figures
- Follow security/fire/safety procedures according to the set rules and regulations and report any incidents to hierarchy
- Receive food orders and prepare requested items and their display as per outlined recipes, HACCP standards, portion control practices, and items’ presentation guidelines
- Support Sous Chef or Chef de Partie in the daily operation and work
- Work according to the menu specifications by the Sous Chef or Chef de Partie
- Keep work area clean and hygienic at all times, according to the rules set by the cafe
- Control food stock and food cost in your section
- Prepare the daily mis-en-place and food production in different sections of the kitchen
- Follow the instructions and recommendations from the immediate Superiors to complete the daily tasks
- Ensure the highest standards and consistent quality in the daily preparation and keep up to date with the new products, recipes and preparation techniques
- Coordinate and participate with other sections of requirements, cleanliness, wastage and cost control
KEY PERFORMANCE
QUALIFICATIONS
· Experience in a commercial kitchen.
· Knowledge of safe food handling principles.
· Demonstrate communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive attitude
. Demonstrated understanding of Health and Safety guidelines, procedures and responsibilities.

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
