Commis Chef

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking Commi to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about food preparation, maintain high hygiene standards, and support the chefs in daily kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in food preparation and basic cooking tasks.
• Follow recipes and instructions from senior chefs.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards (as per HACCP guidelines).
• Ensure proper storage of food items and ingredients.
• Support kitchen operations during busy service hours.
• Maintain personal hygiene and food safety standards at all times.
• Assist in receiving and checking kitchen supplies.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as Commi or kitchen helper preferred.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen equipment.
• Knowledge of food safety & hygiene standards (HACCP preferred).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Flexible to work shifts.
