COMMISSARY ASSOCIATE

Summary:

Sheehan Brothers Vending Service is looking for a full-time Commissary Worker. This position will be responsible for performing a variety of food preparation duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Clean work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes and silverware
• Store food in designated containers and storage areas to prevent spoilage
• Inform supervisors when supplies are getting low or equipment is not working properly
• Carry food supplies, equipment and utensils to and from storage and work areas
• Portion and wrap food
• Read charts to determine amount and kind of foods and supplies to be packaged
• Packaging food in route cooler
• Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 40lbs.
• All other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience:

• High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)preferred
• Previous food service experience preferred but not required
