Commissary Delivery Driver

BB's Tex Orleans is currently looking for a team player to fill the position of Commissary Delivery Driver. The successful Delivery Driver will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery to predetermined restaurant locations on specific routes, reviewing orders prior to delivery, loading and unloading trucks and providing exceptional customer service to our client base.

Compensation: $15/hour

Hours: 35-40 hours/week

7:00 am- 2:00 pm

Ideal Candidate for the Position

We are highly interested in folks that have a background in:

• Warehouse work
• Porter jobs
• Stocking and driving services (no food delivery services)
• People with experience at Amazon would be ideal

Responsibilities and Duties

• Inspection of the truck prior to deliveries
• Reviewing deliveries for accuracy
• Following the best practices for safety, both on the road and while loading or unloading a truck
• Communicating with team members to make deliveries
• Meeting delivery deadlines
• Performing basic truck maintenance
• Loading and unloading cargo
• Tracking shipments and deliveries
• Obtaining client or customer signatures when needed

Qualifications and Skill

• A valid driver’s license
• Clean driving record
• Knowledge of how to handle materials safely
• Familiarity with using navigation systems
• Time management to ensure deliveries are made on schedule
• Excellent vision and hand-eye coordination to stay safe while driving
• Strong customer service skills
• Must have positive and professional attitude

• Must pass a driving record check
• Must have a current and valid drivers license
