SUMMARY
The Commission and Incentive Analyst is a detail-oriented and analytical professional responsible for managing the calculation, analysis, and reporting of commissions and incentive compensation for sales and customer-facing teams. This role ensures timely and accurate payouts, supports the development and administration of compensation plans, and delivers data-driven insights to help align performance with business goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Commission Calculation & Processing
· Calculate monthly, quarterly, and annual commissions and bonuses based on compensation plans.
· Ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and compensation structures.
· Reconcile discrepancies and resolve commission-related inquiries from employees.
Data Management & Reporting
· Maintain and validate data from CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), ERP systems, and payroll platforms.
· Generate regular and ad hoc reports on compensation metrics, performance, and trends.
· Provide dashboards and visualizations for leadership and finance teams.
Plan Design & Support
· Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Sales leadership to support the design and implementation of incentive plans.
· Model and forecast compensation scenarios to evaluate plan effectiveness.
· Document and communicate plan rules and updates to stakeholders.
Compliance & Audit
· Ensure adherence to internal controls and audit requirements.
· Maintain documentation for audit trails and compliance reviews.
Payroll Reconciliation
· Reconciliation of payroll and benefit amounts from the payroll register to the GL
· Reconciliation of actual payroll expenses vs. accruals
· Coordinate with Accounts Payables in ensuring payments for payroll suppliers are processed timely
· Coordinate with Payroll to ensure timely payments, accurate deductions (e.g., taxes, claw backs, etc.), and proper documentation of retroactive adjustments.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Education
o Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
· Experience
o 2+ years of experience in compensation analysis, payroll, or financial operations
o Strong excel skills and experience with commission software (e.g., Xactly, Varicent) is a plus
o Familiarity with CRM and ERP systems (e.g., Salesforce, NetSuite)
o Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
o High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
· Licensure
o Valid Guam Driver’s License

o Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP)
o Experience with commission software (e.g., Xactly, Varicent, CaptivateIQ)
o Basic understanding of SQL or data querying (a plus)
· Skills
o Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, macros)
o Data analysis and reconciliation
o Strong documentation and reporting capabilities
o Ability to interpret and apply compensation plans accurately
· Abilities
o Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
o Ability to identify discrepancies and trends
o Troubleshooting and resolving commission disputes
o Clear and concise communication across departments (sales, HR, finance)
o Explaining complex calculations in simple terms
o Managing multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment

· The physical requirements of this position involve sedentary work, which involves sitting most of the time.
· Administrative work is required working on a PC system for 75% of the working day. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, and viewing a computer terminal
