Commodity Analyst - Procurement

• Conduct in-depth market research and analysis of key commodities, including grains, feed ingredients, and other essential poultry industry inputs.
• Monitor market trends, price fluctuations, and global supply and demand dynamics to provide actionable insights.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of market intelligence and supplier information.
• Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and supply security.
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish long-term relationships with key vendors.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all procurement activities.
• Monitor and manage commodity pricing, ensuring budget adherence and cost-effectiveness.
• Implement cost-saving initiatives and strategies to enhance profitability and operational efficiency.
• Analyze and report on procurement performance, highlighting areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including production, finance, and logistics teams, to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
• Manage inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stock, optimizing storage and transportation costs.
• Address and resolve any supply chain disruptions or issues promptly.
• Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
• Stay informed about geopolitical, environmental, and economic factors that could affect commodity availability and pricing.
• Prepare and present regular reports on market conditions, procurement performance, and cost analyses to senior management.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records, contracts, and documentation

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹850,000.00 per year
