About Position:
The Social Media & Communications Executive will lead LEPRA’s digital presence, communications, and branding initiatives. The role involves managing social media channels, curating engaging content, developing communication material, supporting events, and ensuring visibility of LEPRA’s work to a wider audience including donors, partners, and beneficiaries. The consultant will also play a key role in storytelling, knowledge management, and design support to strengthen the organization’s profile.

Key Responsibilities:
Website & Digital Visibility
Ensure LEPRA’s website is regularly updated, well-maintained, and optimized for visibility.
Work closely with teams to update content, news, and programmatic impact.
Social Media Management
Develop, manage, and maintain LEPRA’s presence across social networking sites (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn).
Plan and execute campaigns to increase engagement, followers, and visibility
Content Creation & Storytelling
Create compelling stories, case studies, blogs, photo essays, newsletters, programme briefs, and infographics.
Capture and edit videos for awareness, donor communications, and advocacy.
Write, edit, and proofread content tailored for multiple audiences.
Publications & Report
Lead design, content, and production of LEPRA’s monthly magazine and annual report.
Coordinate with teams for inputs and ensure high-quality deliverables.
Events & Campaigns
Contribute to planning and execution of events, ensuring communication and marketing material is aligned with organizational goals.
Provide branding support across campaigns and special initiatives.
Knowledge Management & Branding
Ensure consistency of messaging, tone, and branding across all communication platforms.
Manage digital archives, resources, and key knowledge products.
Field Engagement & Documentation
Meet beneficiaries across different disease areas and document their stories in text, photo, and video formats.
Travel to project sites/states as required.
Data & Analytics
Monitor, analyze, and report on social media and website analytics.
Use insights to refine strategies and demonstrate communication impact.
Design & Digital Tools
Work on design and editing tools including Canva, Photoshop, WordPress, Filmora, and other relevant platforms.
Ensure visually appealing communication material is developed for both print and digital media.
Other Responsibilities
Take up additional communication assignments as entrusted by the organization.
Qualifications & Skills
Location: West Marredpally, Secunderabad (with travel to project sites as needed)
Contract Type: Full-time
Remuneration: will depend on qualifications and experience
