1. JOB DETAILS:
Position Title:
Communication & Media Specialist
2. JOB OBJECTIVE:
The Communication & Media Specialist will be responsible for managing Sharq Law Firm’s communication and media presence, both online and offline. This role involves developing and executing communication and media strategies, coordinating with press and media outlets, managing social media platforms, and ensuring consistent brand messaging. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of legal industry communications, excellent writing skills, and experience in media relations.
3. DETAILED DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Media Relations:

Develop and maintain relationships with journalists, media outlets, and legal publications.

Draft media advisories and statements.

Coordinate interviews, press conferences, and media appearances for attorneys and firm leadership.
Content Creation & Management:

Create, edit, and manage content for the firm’s website, blog, newsletters, and social media platforms.

Collaborate with attorneys and departments to develop thought leadership articles, case studies, and client alerts.
Social Media Management:

Develop and implement social media strategies to enhance the firm’s online presence.

Monitor engagement metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.

Ensure all content aligns with the firm’s brand and legal compliance standards.
Event Coordination:

Support in planning and coordinating corporate events and professional engagements to ensure successful execution and alignment with firm objectives.
Internal Communications:

Assist in the development of internal newsletters and announcements.

Support internal branding and employee engagement initiatives.
Other Communication and Media tasks:
Coordinate the firm’s participation and submissions to legal rankings platforms and industry recognitions at (Legal500, Chambers & Partners, ILFR).

Follow Sharq Law Firm’s visual strategy to increase brand awareness, with a target to increase Client’s engagement and awareness about Sharq Law Firm legal services.

Enable to work on designing such as Graphic Designing, Video Editing, Motto Design and Static Design.
4. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience:

2–4 years of experience in media relations, public relations, or communications, preferably in a professional services or legal environment.
Skills:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Arabic & English).

Strong understanding of media platforms, including traditional and digital media.

Proficiency in social media management tools.

Graphic Design skills and familiar with Software such as Adobe Photoshop and illustration.

Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress) and email marketing platforms.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

High attention to details and strong organizational skills.

Knowledge of legal terminology and industry trends is a plus.
