Job Summary

The Communication Officer will be responsible for managing inbound and outbound communication for Denning and will operate within the Corporate Communication Department. The role requires working collaboratively across four functional clusters: Client Services, Content, Counselling and Training, and Corporate Communication to ensure accurate, timely, and professional communication at all times.

Key Responsibilities

Communication & Client Services

Manage and respond to inquiries received across all official communication channels, including multiple phone line systems, social media platforms, email, SMS, and WhatsApp through designated software systems.

Represent Denning in a professional, customer-focused manner and uphold the organization’s corporate image at all times.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all foundation, undergraduate, and postgraduate programs, including eligibility criteria, fee structures, and admissions processes.

Disseminate accurate and verified information promptly at the time of inquiry.

Direct non-standard or department-specific inquiries to the appropriate internal departments, including Registrations and Student Affairs, Finance, and Academics.

Ensure timely resolution and follow-up of all inquiries:

Basic inquiries to be resolved within 24 hours.

Appointment scheduling, fee installment requests, and similar matters to be resolved within 48 hours.

Cross-Cluster Coordination

Support and manage operational requirements for the following clusters:

Client Services

Content

Counselling and Training

Corporate Communication

Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of communication-related tasks across all clusters.

Demonstrate adaptability in handling multiple responsibilities in line with departmental priorities.

Content & Digital Support

Assist the Content cluster with coordination, drafting, and basic review of communication material.

Support the maintenance of accurate, current, and approved content on the organization’s website and digital platforms.

Admissions Support

Conduct outbound calls during the admissions cycle March to September as instructed by the Registrations and Student Affairs department for application follow-ups, offer letter status, and related matters.

Reporting & Administrative Support

Submit daily reports to the Head of Department outlining inquiries received, actions taken, and resolution status.

Assist internal departments with administrative tasks, projects, and coordination as required.

Prepare reports and documentation using Microsoft Office applications.
