About the Job:

As a Communications and Social Media Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in transforming executive expertise and subject matter expert drafts into high‑quality, multi‑channel content that educates, engages, and drives qualified leads. This role is the day‑to‑day communicator with our external and internal stakeholders

In this job you will:

  • Transform leadership and SME inputs into polished deliverables in our brand voice (email, blog, landing pages, scripts, podcast show notes).
  • Repurpose core pieces into newsletter blurbs, 3–5 social posts, short recaps, slides/one-pagers, and webinar promos; mine existing podcast episodes for quotes, timestamps, and captions.
  • Maintain a simple keyword-to-page map; optimize titles, metas, headers, internal links, alt text, and CTAs; partner on backlinks/distribution with the broader team.
  • Build/send newsletter versions with lightweight A/B subject tests and list hygiene; draft social copy aligned to weekly priorities and coordinate assets (e.g., Canva templates)
  • Turn blog/podcast material into one-pagers, objection-handling FAQs, and short case summaries.
  • Communicate and plan with our external partnerships, including conference coordination, travel booking, swag preparatio,n etc.
  • Use clear trackers for deadlines/approvals/status, route drafts for timely feedback, and escalate blockers early.
  • Enforce editorial standards, accuracy, and plain-English clarity; route sensitive statements for the right reviews.

What's in it for you?

This is a direct-hire, full-time, exempt position. CEDR offers a full benefits package that includes subsidized medical, dental, and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) plan with employer match, and an employee assistance program.

Paid holidays, vacation, sick leave, and bonus monthly paid days off. Infant (up to 6 months) and dog-friendly workplace. Annual and performance bonus programs, monthly utility stipend, paid parental leave, and a free gym membership to our on-site gym. Work from home two (2) days per week. All of this, plus a collaborative, casual, and relaxed work environment with a dedication to a healthy work-life balance and supportive, caring co-workers.

As our perfect match you:

  • Bring 2–5+ years of hands-on communication and social media experience (agency, B2B services, communications, or similar)
  • Are organized, low-ego, and deadline-reliable; you keep multiple pieces moving through reviews without losing quality.
  • Are comfortable in a CMS (WordPress or similar) and with basic analytics tools (GA4, Search Console); HubSpot or email platform experience is a plus.
  • Can repurpose content efficiently across email, blog, web, and social; experience writing captions from existing podcast episodes is a plus.
  • Communicate clearly with executives and subject-matter experts; you can push for clarity, confirm facts, and document decisions.
  • Have strong computer skills and learn new tools quickly; Docs/Sheets, Grammarly, and Canva/Adobe Express are familiar territory
  • Enjoy collaborative, team-oriented work; you’re flexible and adapt as priorities evolve—and you treat setbacks as opportunities to improve.
  • Are skilled in project management and have the ability to meet goals and deadlines.
  • Possess strong computer skills, technical capabilities, and the ability to learn new technology quickly.
  • Are proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, and Google Suite
  • Have a working knowledge of marketing concepts, strategies, tactics, and graphic design
  • Have current working knowledge of, or the ability to learn, HubSpot and WordPress.
  • Enjoy working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
  • Can demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and requirements.

We offer challenging work that makes a positive difference in a team-oriented environment. We believe, "Better workplaces make better lives." Care to join us?
