About the Role

We’re looking for a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Communications Associate to support new business efforts and day-to-day operations. This role works closely with the Principal to drive outreach, secure partnerships, and ensure seamless execution across client pitches, events, and internal processes.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Outreach

  • Support new business outreach efforts, including identifying and researching prospective clients and contacts
  • Assist in building and maintaining new business pipelines and lead trackers
  • Proofread and refine proposals and outreach materials
  • Help schedule calls, meetings, and follow-ups

Partnerships & Relationship Building

  • Secure and coordinate brand partnerships for clients
  • Facilitate both B2B and B2C introductions
  • Build and maintain relationships with key brands and partners

Pitching & Content Development

  • Support agency pitches and contribute to proposal writing
  • Create compelling decks and presentations for prospective clients
  • Work across industries including fashion, beauty, hospitality, real estate, design, and events

Executive & Administrative Support

  • Manage the Principal’s daily schedule via Outlook and Zoom
  • Assist with proposal writing, editing, and final proofing
  • Ensure deadlines and priorities are clearly tracked and met

Media & Press Coordination

  • Build and maintain targeted media and press lists using internal and external resources

Event Coordination & Production

  • Assist in planning and executing events, including special events and press conferences
  • Coordinate logistics, timelines, and on-site media management
  • Liaise with external vendors or event producers when needed
  • Oversee execution to ensure smooth, high-quality delivery
  • Maintain detailed event checklists to track all moving parts

Qualifications

  • 1–4 years of experience in an agency, PR, events, or business development role
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Experience creating presentations (PowerPoint, Keynote, or similar)
  • Ability to manage schedules and coordinate across multiple stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented with strong proofreading skills
  • Interest in fashion, beauty, hospitality, real estate, design, or events is a plus

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
