The Communications Coordinator plays a key role in the production and delivery of high-quality communication materials. This position is responsible for managing the creation, design, and distribution of internal and external communications, ensuring all content aligns with the network’s brand, voice, and strategic objectives. The position must have a strong background in content production, including print, digital, and multimedia, with exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
Essential Functions:
Content Production & Design:
- Develop and produce various communication materials including brochures, newsletters, flyers, posters, social media graphics, and video content.
- Collaborate with the communications team to create compelling, visually appealing materials that communicate key messages effectively to patients, staff, and the community.
Digital & Print Media:
- Support the production of print materials, including managing timelines, working with vendors, and ensuring print quality meets the network’s standards.
- Coordinate and execute digital content, including website updates, social media posts, email campaigns, and video production.
- Ensure that all digital and print materials are optimized for their respective platforms and audience needs.
Project Coordination & Workflow Management:
- Manage multiple production projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality materials in alignment with organizational goals.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, including clinical teams and leadership, to understand communication needs and produce materials that meet those needs.
- Develop and maintain a project calendar to track production timelines, deadlines, and milestones.
Multimedia Content Production:
- Assist in the production of multimedia content, including video clips, animations, podcasts, and audio messages, to support communications campaigns and initiatives.
- Coordinate video shoots, interviews, and editing processes to create high-impact content that showcases the healthcare network’s services and community involvement.
- Edit and optimize multimedia content for use on social media, websites, and other digital platforms.
- Vendor & External Partner Liaison:
- Work with external vendors (printers, graphic designers, media production companies) to ensure the production of high-quality materials.
- Manage the production process, including requesting quotes, reviewing proofs, and ensuring the timely delivery of final products.
Social Media & Digital Content Strategy Support:
- Assist in the production of social media content and ensure all graphics and videos are on brand and visually engaging.
- Help implement the social media content calendar and schedule posts to ensure a consistent digital presence across multiple platforms.
Education:
Experience:
- 1 year of experience in communications.
