The City of Murphy seeks to add a Communications & Marketing Coordinator to its dynamic team! Under general direction of the Administrative Services Director, the Communications & Marketing Coordinator is responsible for planning, creating, and coordinating communication and marketing efforts that promote City services, programs, initiatives, events, businesses, and community priorities. The position serves as the City's primary storyteller and public information resource by producing engaging content, managing multimedia communication channels, strengthening the City's brand, and keeping internal and external stakeholders informed and engaged. Works across all City departments to ensure public communications are relevant, accurate, consistent, timely, and aligned with City goals and objectives.

This opportunity is FLSA Exempt and budgeted on Pay Grade #33.
The pay plan range below is shown to represent opportunities for growth and development within this opportunity. We are seeking to hire between the Min to Mid-range of the pay grade shown dependent upon qualifications.
Min $61,615.80
Mid $73,938.96
Max $86,262.12
