Part Time Approximately 26 hours per week, Non-Exempt, Staff

Reports to: Director of Creative Communications

The Communications Ministry Associate supports the Director of Creative Communications in advancing the mission and message of Cibolo Creek Community Church through creative and effective communication. This role helps ensure that the church’s story is told clearly and consistently across all platforms—digital, print, and in-person—and provides vital operational support for all church communication projects.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Provide ongoing administrative, creative, and strategic support to the Director of Creative Communications.

· Assist in the implementation of marketing campaigns and communication strategies across multiple channels.

· Coordinate timelines of communication deliverables for ministry initiatives and events.

· Oversee and manage the church’s online streaming experience, ensuring smooth broadcast quality and live hosting.

· Work with the Director of Creative Communications to develop and schedule engaging content for the church’s social media platforms.

. Monitor and respond to messages, comments, and engagement on social channels in alignment with the church’s voice and mission.

· Assist in capturing photos and videos during events and services for future use in storytelling and promotions.

· Assist in updating and maintaining website content, ensuring information is current, accurate, and visually aligned with church branding.

· Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions to contribute ideas for creative storytelling and engagement.

· Assist with special event preparation and setup, including signage, décor, and environmental details that enhance the guest experience.

· Help organize and lead volunteer teams who serve in setup and décor for special events and ministry initiatives (e.g. Christmas, Easter, Church-wide celebrations, etc.).

· Displays a high emotional intelligence.

· Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.

· A self-starter who thrives in a team environment.

· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

· Demonstrates proficiency in Canva for creating digital and print materials.

· Experience managing or posting to social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc.).

· Experience using Mailchimp email marketing platform.

· Familiarity with project management tools or systems (e.g. Monday.com, Asana, Trello, etc.).

· Photography and/or basic videography skills.

Schedule

● 20 Flexible hours between Monday through Thursday, 9-5pm and 6 required hours on Sunday, 8:00am-2:00pm

● Flexibility with some after-work hours and weekend requirements

● Travel for various retreats, camps, and conferences.

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
