Communications Specialist

Help to grow community engagement and trust through regular, planned and strategic communications with the District 99 community. Work with and support the communication needs of community members, including the Board of Education, staff, students, parents, alumni, non-profit groups that support the district, businesses and media. Assist with planning special events. See attached job description for additional information.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism, communications, public relations or related major

Hours: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm (8 hours/day -with some room for flexibility)

Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 (depending on experience and qualifications)
