As Community Assistant, you will support our Community Manager in the daily operations and management of our co-working space. Your role ensures working with the team to ensure a seamless and productive experience for our members by maintaining a welcoming environment, fostering a sense of community, and managing various aspects of the facility.
Key Responsibilities
Member Engagement
- Greet and assist members and visitors; address inquiries and explain membership options, amenities, and events.
- Foster a collaborative and positive atmosphere by encouraging networking and interaction.
- Identify and address member needs, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
Operational Efficiency
- Manage member onboarding and offboarding, including orientations and exit procedures.
- Maintain accurate member records, contracts, and payments using co-working management software.
- Monitor and manage office supplies and ensure resource availability.
Sales & Marketing
- Assist the Community Manager with leasing operations
- Collaborate with the marketing team to attract new members.
- Conduct tours for potential members and explain membership benefits.
- Contribute to social media content, website updates, and marketing materials.
Financial Management
- Assist with billing and invoicing for memberships and services.
- Track expenses related to maintenance, events, and supplies.
- Provide regular reports on occupancy, membership trends, and financial performance.
Community Building
- Plan and execute networking events, workshops, and seminars.
- Promote a sense of belonging and inclusivity.
- Connect members to foster collaboration and business synergy.
Facility Management
- Ensure cleanliness, organization, and aesthetic appeal of the workspace.
- Manage suite and meeting room reservations; ensure proper scheduling and setup.
- Oversee maintenance and repairs by coordinating with vendors and relevant teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
- Experience in co-working space management, hospitality, or community management (preferred).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency with Pickspace, MS Office Suite, and basic graphic design tools.
- Problem-solving skills for member support and facility issues.
- Enthusiasm for building a vibrant, collaborative community.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
