Community Based Rehabilitation Specialist/Case Manager

Our agency is looking for an experienced and skilled CBRS worker to provide case management and community based rehabilitative services to participants in our mental health agency. This position utilizes a variety of approaches and interventions that promote recovery and successful community integration to children and adults with emotional, behavioral and psychological problems. CBRS will provide individualized support and skills teaching in the community to promote new role development and assist individuals in gaining access to needed psychiatric, medical, social, residential, financial and other services appropriate for the individual. If you have a license-able degree, you must be licensed. Applicant must be willing to work with adults as well as children in the community and their homes. Previous experience working with the mentally ill population required.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 or older and have a Bachelor's Degree in behavioral science or other health and human services field
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Experience working with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Must have a current Driver's License and current registration & insurance.
• Must be willing to commute to surrounding areas (Boise, Kuna, Meridian, Nampa) to meet with members in person.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Proficiency in crisis management and intervention techniques.
• Knowledge of behavioral health systems and resources.
• Knowledgeable of resources including but not limited to housing, food, financial and medical
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Compassionate and non-judgmental approach to supporting individuals.
