Community Manager – Villages at Canterfield (West Dundee, IL) Salary: $85,000 per year Ansonia Property Management is seeking an experienced and driven Community Manager to lead operations at Villages at Canterfield, a large, garden-style apartment community located in West Dundee, Illinois. This role is ideal for a strong operator who can drive occupancy, lead a team, and manage overall property performance in a fast-paced environment. Position Details: Location: West Dundee, IL Employment Type: Full-Time Compensation: $85,000 annually Reports To: Regional Property Manager Key Responsibilities: Oversee all day-to-day operations of the community, including leasing, maintenance, and resident services Lead, coach, and hold the on-site team accountable to performance goals Drive occupancy through effective leasing strategies, follow-up, and resident retention efforts Monitor and manage property financials, including budget adherence and expense control Ensure compliance with Fair Housing and company policies Maintain accurate reporting, resident files, and operational documentation Partner with maintenance and vendors to ensure timely unit turns and service completion Deliver a high level of customer service and maintain strong resident relationships Qualifications: 2+ years of property management experience required Proven experience leading and developing on-site teams Strong understanding of leasing, occupancy management, and collections Experience with Yardi or similar property management software preferred Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results Benefits: 401(k) with company match Medical, dental, and vision insurance Flexible spending account Life insurance Paid time off and holidays Professional development opportunitie
