The Community Manager is responsible for the total operation the property of the assigned tenant-occupied building(s). A Community Management position consists of a broad range of duties, managing the day-to-day operations of these large assets.
*** Schedule (Tuesday - Saturday 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.)***
$35 - $40 hourly based on experience, paid vacation, sick time, birthday paid off, option for benefits such as medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a competitive 401k match.
- Advertise vacancies, schedule, and tour potential residents. Maintain high occupancy levels.
- Collection of rent and other charges
- Conduct daily property walk-throughs to assure security and tidiness.
- Maintain strong professional relationships with tenants, colleagues, and vendors.
- Participate in meetings with upper management.
- Coordinate maintenance work and routine safety inspections.
- Source vendors and obtain vendor bids for special work and/or regular services; manage all vendor services.
IDEAL CANDIDATES
- Results-driven, highly organized, with attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities to completion.
- Problem solver. Maintains efficiencies. Detail-oriented.
- Knowledge of tenant, eviction, and fair housing laws and applicable federal, state, and local laws, codes, and regulations pertaining to the multifamily industry is helpful.
- Knowledge of the multifamily property management industry.
- Customer service/resident relations experience.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on residential property management experience, having managed a property of at least 100+ units in addition to overseeing 3+ employees.
- Strong computer skills, with high proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook) and Google Docs.
- Experience with Yardi required
- Professional communication skills
- Applicants must pass the pre-employment physical, drug and alcohol test, and background checks to be eligible for hire.
- CCRM, ARM, or CAM Preferred.
