Overview
We are seeking an energetic and proactive Community Manager to lead and cultivate vibrant residential communities. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for residents, property staff, and vendors, ensuring a positive living environment and seamless operations. Responsibilities

  • Act as the main liaison between residents, property owners, vendors, and staff to ensure effective communication and resolution of issues
  • Oversee leasing activities, including property tours, application processing, and upselling available units to prospective tenants
  • Manage lease agreements, contracts, and legal documentation in compliance with Fair Housing regulations and landlord-tenant law
  • Coordinate property maintenance requests and facilities management to maintain high standards of property appearance and safety
  • Utilize property management software such as Resman, Yardi or OneSite for data entry, rent collection, reporting, and record keeping
  • Handle conflict management situations with professionalism and tact while maintaining a positive community atmosphere
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure property cleanliness, safety standards, and proper functioning of amenities

Experience

  • Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles with a focus on customer service and tenant relations
  • Familiarity with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), Section 8 housing programs, and related regulations
  • Strong knowledge of Resman, Yardi, OneSite or similar property management systems; experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is a plus
  • Background in legal administrative tasks such as filing contracts, managing lease documentation, and understanding landlord-tenant law
  • Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to upsell units or services effectively
  • Demonstrated conflict management skills combined with professional phone etiquette and customer relationship management expertise
  • Office experience involving data entry, filing, and general administrative support in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $65,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
