About the Role
Apex Heart and Vascular Care is looking for a Community Manager & Events Coordinator to lead our outreach efforts across North Jersey. This role is all about getting in front of patients, building trust in the community, and driving awareness around cardiovascular health and our services.
You’ll be the bridge between our medical team and the community—educating patients, organizing events, and making sure people know how to access care when they need it most.
We’re specifically looking for someone bilingual (English/Spanish preferred) who is comfortable speaking with diverse patient populations.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Plan, coordinate, and execute community outreach events (health fairs, screenings, local partnerships, pop-ups, etc.)
- Represent Apex at events and educate patients on symptoms, conditions, and available services
- Clearly communicate how patients can schedule appointments, get evaluated, and access care
- Work closely with physicians and leadership to align outreach with current initiatives and campaigns
- Coordinate logistics for events:
- Venue setup
- Materials and signage
- Patient engagement tools (flyers, QR codes, sign-ups)
- Build and maintain relationships with:
- Community organizations
- Local businesses
- Senior centers, rehab facilities, urgent cares, etc.
- Track event performance and report on patient engagement and lead generation
- Assist in creating outreach materials and messaging (in collaboration with marketing)
- Support in-office events and special initiatives when needed
Responsibilities (Flexible Based on Needs)
This is a dynamic role. Responsibilities may shift based on:
- New campaigns (cardiovascular awareness, PAD, knee pain, etc.)
- Physician schedules and availability
- Seasonal initiatives (Heart Month, community screenings, etc.)
- Growth of outreach programs across new locations
What We’re Looking For
- Bilingual (English/Spanish strongly preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills (you’re comfortable talking to anyone)
- Experience in event coordination, community outreach, or healthcare marketing is a plus
- Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple events/projects at once
- Comfortable working both independently and with a team
- Reliable transportation (travel between locations/events required)
- Passion for healthcare, patient education, and community impact

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
