Kinective is a premium fitness club built for members who expect more: better facilities, stronger community, and a brand that holds itself to a higher standard. We are opening our second location in Plano and building the team that will define the member experience from day one. This role is part of that founding team.
The Role
We are hiring a Community Marketing & Member Experience Coordinator to be the on-site engine for local marketing execution and member-facing community programming at our Plano club. You will run point on content, events, partnerships, and member newsletters among other things.
You report to our Marketing Coordinator and work alongside the Plano General Manager and Member Relations Advisor on member-facing initiatives.
This is an execution role with strong influence over local creative direction. It is ideal for someone with sharp brand instincts, strong content creation skills, event coordination experience, and genuine interest in building community in real life.
What You Will Do
- Execute local marketing campaigns, events, and activations under direction from the Marketing Coordinator
- Capture photo and video content in-club and in-market for social media and campaign use
- Plan and run member events, socials, and brand activations from concept through on-site execution
- Build and coordinate partnerships with local businesses, creators, and influencers in the Plano and DFW market
- Coordinate member-facing newsletters and campaign communications
- Produce member spotlight content across photo, video, and written formats
- Coordinate member referral program promotion at the club level
- Maintain on-brand signage, displays, and physical marketing materials throughout the club
- Identify highly engaged members and emerging community leaders for ambassador opportunities
- Report local market observations, competitor activity, and member community feedback to leadership
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field
- 2 to 4 years of experience in marketing coordination, community management, event coordination, or comparable hybrid role
- Strong content capture skills using iPhone photography, video, and basic editing apps (CapCut, Lightroom, Adobe Express, or similar)
- Working proficiency across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and emerging social platforms
- Demonstrated event coordination experience from planning through on-site execution
- Familiarity with CRM systems and the ability to log engagement data accurately
- Sharp brand and aesthetic awareness; you can tell the difference between on-brand and slightly off
- Self-managed, organized, and reliable on deadlines without close supervision
- Comfortable as the only marketing and community resource on site
- Plano-area residents strongly preferred for community network and local market knowledge
Nice to Have
- Influencer or creator outreach experience
- Brand partnership or community collaboration experience
- Prior experience in fitness, hospitality, lifestyle, or premium consumer brands
- Experience with member-based or subscription business models
What This Role Is Not
- Not a strategy, brand, or paid media role.
- Not a member service or retention role.
- Not remote or hybrid. This role is on-site at the Plano club.
- Not a stepping stone for someone who only wants to make content. We need execution across events, partnerships, and community programming.
Pay: From $52,000.00 per year
