Assignment

The Consultant will be responsible for the community level actions in all villages of working block under the project. The Consultant will plan and implement the activities under the guidance of the Field Officer in line with the implementation plan of the project.
Remain alert and responsive to any child safeguarding risks, acquire relevant knowledge and skills which will enable you to promote strong safeguarding practices, understand the safeguarding policy and procedures and conduct yourself in a manner consistent with ChildFund’s Safeguarding Policy.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: 12th pass/Graduate or equivalent in Development Studies or Social Sciences
  • Experience: 3-4 years of experience in community mobilization
  • Skills and Abilities: Good communication skills (both verbal and written) in local language. The ability to communicate in local language is a must. Be an organized, team player, self-starter and results-oriented individual. Be gender sensitive with strong conviction and skills for the empowerment of excluded and disadvantaged children. Capacity building and training skills.
