About the Role

We are seeking a Community & Partnerships Manager to help launch and grow the Connect America initiative.

In this role, you will work directly with the Founder to help bring organizations, foundations, and civic leaders onto the platform. You will help build relationships, coordinate outreach, support new members, and help manage communications across the network.

What You’ll Do

Outreach & Relationship Building

• Identify and reach out to leaders of nonprofit organizations, civic groups, foundations, and aligned networks.
• Introduce the Connect America initiative and schedule meetings with the Founder.
• Maintain outreach pipelines and follow-up communications with prospective partners and supporters.

Partnership Development

• Help build relationships with organizations that may participate in or support the network.
• Coordinate communications with potential sponsors, partners, and supporters.

Network Growth & Engagement

• Onboard organizations and leaders onto the PeopleMovers platform.
• Help members create profiles, groups, and initiatives within the network.
• Encourage collaboration and engagement between participating organizations.

Communications & Content

• Write and post updates, announcements, and stories within the network.
• Support newsletters and outreach communications to the broader community.
• Work with the Founder and AI tools to create messaging and materials.

Training & Support

• Develop simple onboarding and training resources for new users.
• Create short tutorials or guides to help organizations use the platform effectively.

Bonus Experience

• Building relationships with top political, corporate, and nonprofit leaders across the country
• Community organizing, nonprofit work, or civic engagement.
• Communications, partnerships, or business development roles.
• Experience managing digital communities or networks.
• Familiarity with tools such as CRM systems, Google Workspace, social media platforms, or AI tools.
