Community Property Manager

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Community Manager to oversee the daily operations of both residential communities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fostering a positive living environment, ensuring resident satisfaction, and managing community resources effectively. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a thorough understanding of property management practices.

Duties

  • Manage resident relations by addressing concerns and resolving conflicts in a timely manner.
  • Oversee leasing activities, including upselling available units and managing contracts.
  • Maintain accurate records through data entry and legal administrative tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and other relevant laws.
  • Utilize Yardi software for property management tasks, including tracking leases and tenant information.
  • Coordinate maintenance requests using Yardi work order system to ensure timely service delivery.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the property to maintain standards and address any issues proactively.
  • Develop and implement community events to enhance resident engagement and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with vendors and contractors to ensure quality service delivery.

Experience

  • Proven experience in property management or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle difficult situations diplomatically.
  • Familiarity with Yardi or similar property management software is highly desirable.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on resident satisfaction.
  • Background in sales or upselling techniques is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and compliance requirements is essential.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in data entry and record keeping.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
