The Danco Group of Companies is hiring a compassionate and community oriented Property Manager to oversee two supportive housing sites in Oakland, CA—57 units designed to offer stability, dignity, and a pathway forward for residents facing housing insecurity. Rooted in our Platinum Standards and promise-based culture, this role goes beyond traditional property management. You will work closely and collaboratively with on-site supportive services staff to ensure a coordinated, person-centered approach that meets both housing and wellness needs. You'll lead day-to-day operations, maintain compliance, and foster an environment of respect, trust, and accountability.
Duties
- Manage all aspects of property leasing, including marketing available units, conducting property showings, and processing applications.
- Maintain accurate records related to tenant files, lease agreements, and property maintenance requests.
- Develop and implement customer relationship management strategies to enhance tenant satisfaction.
- Coordinate property maintenance activities, ensuring timely repairs and upkeep of facilities.
- Address tenant inquiries and resolve conflicts in a professional manner.
- Ensure compliance with LIHTC regulations and other relevant housing laws.
- Conduct regular inspections of properties to assess condition and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare reports on property performance metrics, occupancy rates, and tenant feedback.
Experience
- Proven experience in property management or a related field is preferred.
- 1+ year of LIHTC experience
- 1+ Year of Affordable Housing Property Management Experience
- Knowledge of HUD, Low Income Housing Tax Credits, HOME, and ADA Guidelines
- Ability to Develop and Implement Budgets and Variance Reports
- Resident Problem Solving and Staff Management
