Community Psychiatric Support and Treatment (CPST) Provider - Bilingual Preferred-Urgently Hiring

About the Role

We are seeking a Community Psychiatric Support and Treatment (CPST) Provider to deliver in-home, goal-directed, strengths-based support to children and youth facing behavioral health challenges. This role focuses on stability, skill development, and family support, helping youth build coping strategies and independence. Services are delivered in the client’s home and community across all five boroughs of NYC.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct interventions to support coping skills, problem-solving, and behavior management.
  • Develop and implement individualized service plans with measurable goals.
  • Educate and train families on mental health symptom management to improve family dynamics.
  • Connect children and families with community resources and social support services.
  • Attend monthly provider meetings to stay updated on best practices and protocols.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation (progress notes, service plans, expense logs, etc.).
  • Report incidents promptly to supervisors for accountability and transparency.
  • Coordinate with Care Managers and other providers to ensure comprehensive service delivery.
  • Deliver services in the home and community setting based on the child/youth's needs.

Qualifications For Intensive Interventions, Crisis Management, and Crisis Avoidance :

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related human services field with one year of experience
  • Certification in an Evidenced-Based Practice (EBP) (waives experience requirement)
  • Licensed professionals such as Registered Nurses (RN), Licensed Occupational Therapists, or Licensed Creative Arts Therapists (LCATs) with behavioral health experience
  • Bachelor’s degree plus three years of experience in children’s mental health, addiction, child welfare, or juvenile justice

For Psychoeducation, Strength-Based Service Planning, and Rehabilitative Supports:

  • Bachelor’s degree plus two years of experience in children’s mental health, addiction, foster care, juvenile justice, or a related human services field

Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
