Community Relations Coordinator

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Part-Time Compliance Coordinator to join our team. This role is responsible for helping ensure the community maintains its high standards by enforcing governing documents and supporting compliance-related processes. The Compliance Coordinator works directly with the General Manager and serves as liaison to key committees.

Schedule:

• Tuesday–Thursday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. (½ hour lunch)
• One evening per month (last Tuesday: 11:30 a.m.–8:00 p.m.)

Key Responsibilities:

• Enforce the Association’s governing documents (CC&Rs, Rules, Architectural Guidelines, etc.).
• Interpret and apply applicable laws and civil codes.
• Serve as liaison to the Hearing Committee; prepare and follow up on homeowner hearings.
• Draft and publish compliance-related newsletter content.
• Maintain accurate records and procedural manuals.
• Conduct monthly community inspections and escrow property inspections (company vehicle provided).
• Track and organize boat registration files.
• Respond to homeowner calls, emails, and correspondence with professionalism.
• Attend staff meetings, committee meetings, and Board of Directors meetings as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel (Enumerate software experience a plus).
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Valid California Driver’s License, clean driving record, and proof of insurance.
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends.
