Companion Caregiver

Are you upbeat, energetic, and enjoy helping others stay engaged and active? We are seeking a compassionate Companion Caregiver for an active autistic client with lots of energy who enjoys staying busy and being out and about.

This is a great fit for someone who enjoys walking, staying active, and building meaningful relationships. Experience with children or adults with autism is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Provide companionship, supervision, and positive engagement
• Accompany client on daily walks (1+ miles/day)
• Encourage activities, routine, and social interaction
• Provide transportation to outings/activities as needed
• Support a safe, fun, and structured environment
• Communicate professionally with the care team and family

Qualifications:

✔ Experience with autism or neurodivergent children or adults (preferred)
✔ Upbeat, patient, and energetic personality
✔ Physically able to walk 1+ miles daily
✔ Current driver’s license and dependable vehicle required
✔ Clean driving record preferred
✔ Non-smoker
✔ Reliable, punctual, and compassionate
✔ Must pass a background check

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
