Job Overview

We are seeking reliable and skilled Box Truck and Cargo Van Drivers to join our team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and excellent customer service.

We Run Texas Only

Miles: up to 2,500 weekly

Pay Rate: $0.35 to $0.45 per mile (Depends on experience and endorsements)

Duties

• Operate commercial vehicles, including box trucks and vans, to deliver goods to designated locations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Load and unload cargo, utilizing equipment such as pallet jacks when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during transport.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
• Ensure that all cargo is secured properly to prevent damage during transit.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal driving regulations while on the road.
• Assist in moving items within the warehouse as needed.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL or NonCDL) is required depending on equipment.
• Must Obtain Medical DOT Physical
• Experience driving equipment with airbrakes is preferred.
• Ability to drive up to 500 miles daily.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as part of loading and unloading duties.
• Previous experience as a courier or in a warehouse environment is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping.
• Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, whereas some loads/routes will be partnered up occasionally.
• A commitment to safety and compliance with all transportation regulations.
