Job Summary

China Gate General Trading is seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our operations team. The ideal candidate will ensure safe, timely, and efficient transportation of material, documents, and personnel. This role requires strong knowledge of local routes, excellent driving skills, and a commitment to customer service and company professionalism.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles to transport the materials and personnel as required.
• Pick up and deliver products to customers, suppliers, and warehouses in a timely manner.
• Verify and load delivery items, ensuring accurate documentation and proper handling.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness, fueling, and basic upkeep to ensure roadworthiness.
• Report any mechanical issues, accidents, or delays to the supervisor immediately.
• Follow all traffic rules, company policies, and safety regulations at all times.
• Assist with loading and unloading items.
• Keep delivery logs, expense records, and transportation documentation accurately.
• Coordinate with the teams to ensure efficient delivery routes.
• Provide courteous and professional service to clients and team members.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a driver (commercial or company driver preferred).
• Familiarity with local roads, routes, and GPS navigation.
• Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting and moving materials.
• Familiarity with the infrastructure-related materials
• Good communication skills and professional attitude.
• Presentable, Punctual, trustworthy, and safety-conscious.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in delivery, trading companies, and infrastructure-related materials
• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.
• Ability to communicate in English (plus any regional languages).
