Duties

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and fluid levels
• Follow established routes for delivery and pick-up schedules, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records in compliance with federal regulations
• Communicate effectively with dispatch to coordinate route adjustments or address delivery issues
• Ensure cargo is secured properly during transit to prevent damage or accidents

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A license with a clean driving record and at least one year of commercial driving experience
• Proven experience operating tractor-trailers with manual transmissions and handling various freight types such as refrigerated loads, flatbeds, tankers, or dump trucks
• Ability to drive safely over long distances on different routes while managing time efficiently
• Knowledge of load securing techniques for different freight types including roll-off containers and flatbed cargo
• Strong understanding of safety protocols related to commercial driving and freight handling
• Ability to perform basic vehicle inspections and maintenance checks independently

Pay: $9,000.00 - $10,800.00 per month
