Duties

• Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmissions, hauling dry van freight across assigned routes
• Load and unload cargo efficiently using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
• Manage route driving, adhering to schedules and traffic laws to guarantee on-time deliveries
• Handle freight securely within refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or dump trucks as required for specific shipments
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, shipment documentation, and delivery records for compliance purposes
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and any route adjustments

Requirements

• Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record and experience operating tractor-trailers with manual transmissions
• Proven delivery driver experience with knowledge of route planning and load management
• Ability to operate various truck types including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks is a plus
• Familiarity with freight handling procedures such as load & unload operations using forklifts or other equipment
• Strong understanding of safety protocols related to commercial driving and cargo securement
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Physical capability to perform routine vehicle inspections and cargo handling tasks

Pay: $1,500.00 - $2,200.00 per week
