Company Driver - OTR

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Company Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of commercial trucks to transport freight efficiently and securely across designated routes.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor-trailers, including those with manual transmissions, across local and regional routes
• Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks when necessary
• Drive different types of trailers, including refrigerated, flatbed, tanker, dump trucks, and freight carriers, ensuring proper handling at all times
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, routes, and vehicle inspections in compliance with company policies and legal requirements
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety, including checking brakes, tires, lights, and load securement
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations to prevent accidents or violations during route driving
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly

Experience

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or truck driver with a strong understanding of commercial driving standards
• Hands-on experience operating various types of trucks such as flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tanker trucks, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks is preferred
• Demonstrated ability to load & unload freight efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
• Familiarity with route planning and navigation tools for efficient delivery scheduling
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements relevant to the types of trailers driven (e.g., refrigerated, tanker)
• Knowledge of manual transmission operation is advantageous
• Prior experience with forklift operation or other loading equipment is a plus

Pay: $1,600.00 - $2,000.00 per week
