Company Lawyer

Job Summary:

Atara Development LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive In-House Lawyer to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have experience reviewing and drafting Sale and Purchase Agreements (SPA) and other contracts related to real estate development. Knowledge of construction contracts is a strong plus. This role supports the company’s development projects by ensuring legal compliance, risk mitigation, and effective contract management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review, draft, and negotiate Sale and Purchase Agreements (SPA) and other real estate contracts
• Provide legal advice on contracts, transactions, and regulatory compliance in real estate development
• Assist in reviewing construction contracts and advise on related risks and obligations
• Collaborate with project managers, finance, and external counsel to support projects
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments affecting the real estate and construction sectors
• Assist with dispute resolution and coordinate with external legal advisors as needed
• Ensure legal documents comply with applicable laws and protect company interests

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent from a recognized institution
• Licensed to practice law; relevant legal certifications preferred
• Minimum 3 years of experience in real estate law, contract review, and negotiation
• Familiarity with construction contract law is a must
• Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently
