About the Role
Spiegelworld is looking for a Temporary Company Manager to join the team at The Hook within Caesars in Atlantic City. We seek an organized and get-it-done individual with exceptional collaboration skills to lead and support the company members in all logistical needs, represent company interests, and facilitate cooperation with all on-site departments. The Company Manager will also lead Community engagement and activation initiatives. This role is responsible for liaising between the General Manager and the rest of the company, with a focus on human resources, logistics, and company welfare. This position reports to the General Manager. This position is anticipated to be from December through February. The schedule varies based on show needs but is typically Wed/Thurs/Sun 1p-9p, Fri/Sat 3p-11p.
What You’ll Do
- Work closely with Spiegelworld and resort partners to ensure an expertly operated theatrical experience.
- Support all theater efforts to ensure inter- and intra- departmental needs are met in a timely manner and all deadlines are achieved.
- Actively engage in our antiracist commitment and internal practices by participating in offered learnings, engaging in conversations around Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Accessibility, and helping us maintain a safe and welcoming workspace.
- Create a work environment which promotes teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, mutual respect, and employee satisfaction.
- Implement safety protocols and evacuation scenarios for all FOH emergency situations and coordinate regular practices with resort partners.
- Track and manage operational budgets and support the General Manager in negotiating and drafting artist contracts.
- Work closely with the Resident Director and Stage Management to support logistical needs for artistic maintenance of the show.
- Support Crew Chief in crew management tasks such as: approving time off requests, crew scheduling, crew payroll, and keeping up with clock in issues
- Support Sales and Marketing team with hosting group events as needed.
- Work with Marketing and PR Team to create publicity for events and connection opportunities, as well as assist with promotional events.
- Develop and maintain community outreach programming and promote Spiegelworld’s involvement in the local community
- Build relationships with local arts, circus, educational, etc organizations
- Monitor feedback from the local community
- Manage immigration/visas and travel/housing/parking for new or visiting artists and creative teams.
- Assist artists and other new hires as needed in setting up social security, bank accounts, and local housing.
- Serve as point of contact for company members on a wide range of human resource and logistical issues.
- Support Spiegelworld’s staff in regards to creating a first-class production, as well as a collaborative, respectful and creative environment with open communication.
- Ensure the production follows all departmental and Spiegelworld policies, practices, and procedures.
- Schedule and/or participate in company, crew, artistic and technical meetings as needed.
- Schedule and perform the necessary Concussion Baseline testing on all new artists
- Other duties as assigned by your manager.

What You Bring
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in live performance with at least 3 years in a company management role.
- Proven people management and organizational skills to coordinate logistics across a diverse team. Experience managing union staff is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in an always changing, never dull, creative environment that creates memorable moments.
- Possesses excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Experience with budget management/tracking and basic bookkeeping.
- Experience in community outreach and planning events with the local community a plus
- Must have a flexible schedule with the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must have valid work authorization for the US and a valid driver’s license.
- Successful background check clearance prior to hire
