Job Summary - We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Company Secretary with 2–3 years of experience in the real estate sector to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. The role involves managing corporate governance, ROC compliances, board processes and legal documentation related to real estate operations.

Key Responsibilities

Statutory & Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with the Companies Act, 2013, SEBI (if applicable), FEMA, RERA and other applicable laws.
  • Handle all ROC filings, including annual returns, financial statements and event-based filings.
  • Maintain statutory registers, records and minutes books.

Board & Governance

  • Organize Board Meetings, Committee Meetings and General Meetings.
  • Prepare agendas, notes, resolutions and draft minutes.
  • Advise the Board and senior management on corporate governance best practices.

Real Estate–Specific Compliance

  • Support compliance related to RERA registrations, filings and disclosures.
  • Assist in legal documentation for land acquisition, joint development agreements, leases and project approvals.
  • Coordinate with legal advisors, consultants and government authorities.

Corporate & Legal Support

  • Draft, review and vet contracts, agreements and corporate documents.
  • Assist in incorporation of subsidiaries, LLPs, SPVs and group restructuring if required.
  • Support due diligence for property transactions, funding and audits.

Liaison & Coordination

  • Act as a liaison with regulators, ROC, auditors, bankers and external consultants.
  • Coordinate with internal teams such as finance, legal and projects for compliance-related matters.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications

  • Qualified Company Secretary (ACS/CS) from ICSI.
  • LLB will be an added advantage.

Experience & Skills

  • 2–3 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in the real estate or infrastructure sector.
  • Strong knowledge of Companies Act, 2013, ROC compliances and corporate governance.
  • Working knowledge of RERA and real estate-related legal documentation.
  • Good drafting, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of integrity, attention to detail and ability to work independently

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹14,411.44 - ₹55,507.58 per month
