Compassionate Caregiver

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in need of personal care and daily living support. Responsibilities

• Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Monitor patients’ health by observing vital signs, reporting changes, and maintaining accurate care records
• Administer medications following prescribed care plans while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and confidentiality
• Support residents with meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring proper nutrition according to dietary guidelines
• Utilize specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident’s <PERSON> for safe transfers and mobility assistance
• Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning duties aligned with health standards
• Provide emotional support, companionship, and engagement to enhance overall well-being

Experience

• Prior experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care settings preferred
• Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory care, hospice care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism
• Certifications such as CPR, First Aid, HIPAA compliance training highly desirable
• Experience with patient observation, medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and care planning
• Familiarity with working in group homes or residential facilities serving seniors or individuals with disabilities
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate mobility aids like Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices
• Strong understanding of patient monitoring techniques and adherence to safety protocols
